Beacon Academy has fallen. Ozpin is missing.
Vale is on the brink of collapse. Grimm are swarming everywhere.
Atlas has become public enemy number one, and the two most promising first year teams, RWBY and JNPR, are broken...
Blake is missing, Yang is crippled, and Weiss has been taken back to Atlas by her father.
Pyrrha has been taken, apparently killed by Cinder, but possibly, and more frighteningly consumed and taken by the dark Maiden, to be turned into something far darker and worse than a fallen Huntress.
Yet there remains the spark of hope. Ruby Rose has teamed with her remaining friends in Team JNPR, and they have become Team RNJR (Ranger), unknowingly following in the lost tradition of the "Rangers" Hunters who are allied only to their team, and the protection of the world at all costs, Hunters who refuse the mission boards, and refuse to quit. And although they do not know it yet, they are far from alone...
No matter what other dark secrets, trials or battles may lay ahead, the truth will be known, the war between good and evil will come, and be it for ruin or for glory, one thing is for sure, the day we are all waiting for, will surely come.
